Hello Taurus and happy May! We start the month off with Mercury, the planet of communication, entering its home sign of Gemini and 2nd house of finances and security. This could indicate a good time to tidy up the financial aspect of your life. Are there any new ideas or plans you have in mind to bring more abundance, security and money to your life? Perhaps is a new financial plan, a new job, a new investment or simply a balancing out of your spendings and earnings. On the 8th, Venus, the planet of love and money, joins Mercury in your 2nd house of Gemini. Now, with Venus’ transit through the 2nd house, this can either manifest as knowing the value of your work, yourself and your possessions or going to the other extreme of spending frivolously and overindulging in things we do not need at the moment. Gemini is an energy that appreciates stimulation, especially a mental one, so if you are inclined to spend money, maybe spend it on things, lessons, people or situations that will bring some kind of knowledge or value to your life. On the 11th, there is a New Moon in Taurus, activating your 1st house of self and identity. Taurus, what personal goals do you want to put out in the world right now? This lunation is all about you! Get in touch with yourself and your inner needs and manifest something great for yourself! On the 13th, Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and expansion, enters its home sign of Pisces and your 11th house of networking, hopes and ideas, encouraging group activities and connections at this time. Taurus, this is the moment where you can come together with people to do something meaningful and helpful for not only yourself but those around you. The 11th house is very much a social house, so it could be more beneficial for you to work with others to achieve greater results that are both long-lasting and fulfilling. On the 20th, the Sun enters your 2nd house of Gemini, marking the official start of Gemini season! The Sun transiting your 2nd house shifts you focus and asks for your attention in your financial area of life. This could be a time where you identify heavily with your material possessions, which could potentially be dangerous. Remember your worth is not defined by what you own or how wealthy you are, it is measured by your values and who you are as a person on the inside, remember that! This could also indicate a time where you take a close look at your values, how you identify with them and if they still align with what you want to stand for. Now with eclipses, I always say just let the energy be, since it's practically a lunation on steroids, and it can be somewhat hard to manipulate this energy during this time.
