Welcome to May, Aries! This month opens up with the planet of communication and intellect, Mercury, entering its home sign of Gemini and your 3rd house of local community and thoughts. Get ready for your daily life to pick up speed! It is a great time to open up, build relationships and communicate with your local community and connect with your immediate environment. Both Mercury and Gemini are mental and intellectual energies, so expand your mind during this time! On the 8th, Venus, the planet of love and money, joins Mercury in your 3rd house of Gemini. Venus’ transit through the 3rd house is always a “stop and smell the roses” transit to me, so quite literally find the little pleasures and joys in your surroundings everyday and connect with that . Keep people, feelings and things that make you happy around you. On the 11th, there is a New Moon in Taurus, activating your 2nd house of finances and security. This is a great lunation to plant seeds when it comes to new financial goals and plans. What do you want to improve in this area of life? Is it a new job you want to manifest? A new source of income? Security for yourself, whether that's material, financial or emotional? Manifest your dreams, Aries! On the 13th, Jupiter, the planet of knowledge and expansion, enters its home sign of Pisces and your 12th house of subconscious and isolation. 12th house transits tend to be on the harsher side usually, but with this benefic transiting its home sign, there is a great energy that could be calling you to dig deeper into your spirituality and subconscious. Take advantage of the wisdom this Jupiterian energy brings with and take in as much knowledge as you can about, not only yourself, but things that affect you on a deeper level as well. Jupiter’s transit through this house will only last a couple of months until it stations retrograde and slides back into Aquarius, so use this time wisely! On the 20th, the Sun enters your 3rd house of Gemini, marking the official start of Gemini season! This transit will just add to the energies that both Mercury and Venus are providing while transiting your 3rd house. Needless to say, this could be a very busy time when it comes to connecting with your immediate surroundings, your friends and your daily activities. On the 23rd, Saturn, the planet of discipline and limitations, stations retrograde in Aquarius and your 11th house of networking, hopes and ideas. Retrogrades are times of reflection, revaluation and restructuring. Take this time to go through any goals and ideas you had set out and tend to them. Do these need restructuring of any kind? Do any of them need to be revised or rethought? Saturn will be retrograde until early October, so don’t rush the process, trust yourself and the timeline you are on right now! On the 26th, we are thrown right back into eclipse season, with a Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, illuminating your 9th house of spirituality and education. Now with eclipses, I always say just let the energy be, since it's practically a lunation on steroids, and it can be somewhat hard to manipulate this energy during this time. Sit back, tune into yourself and your spirit guides and let the messages come through to release whatever needs to be released right now. To finish up the month, Mercury, the planet of communication, will station retrograde in your 3rd house of Gemini.
