October is here Pisces, and so are you! The month welcomes us with a Full Moon in Aries happening on October 1st (quite literally the FIRST day!) and it is activating your 2nd house of material possessions and finances. This could be a good time to redefine your relationship with money, how you perceive it and how to best use it to your advantage. On the 2nd, Venus, the planet of beauty and values, enters your Virgo 7th house of relationships, indicating good fortune and pleasant vibes in this area of life. Perhaps take pleasure in doing intellectually stimulating things with the people closest to you or your significant other during this time, engaging in Virgo-like activities! (basically mentally stimulating activities) On October 13th, Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, stations retrograde in your 9th house of philosophy, travel and learning, signaling some restructuring around these themes. This New Moon will be hitting your 8th house of shared resources and assets, signaling a good time to start any sort of financial/savings plan, especially if your finances are joined with your partner or you experience any sort of sharing of your possessions. It can also feel like a very intense time emotionally, since the 8th house is often related to transformation themes. On the 22nd, the Sun enters Scorpio, joining Mercury and shining a light on those retrograde topics it’s bringing up, and putting some emphasis into revising these. On the 27th, Mercury RX slides back into Libra, bringing the energies of rethinking and reassessing to your 8th house of shared resources, indicating a good time to check in with those seeds planted during the New Moon on the 16th. Shortly after, Venus will enter your 8th house as well, signaling a possible harmonious time during this transit when it comes to other people’s resources that could benefit you in the end. To end this month on a wild note, we will experience a Full Moon in Taurus CONJUNCT Uranus on October 31st, yes HALLOWEEN! Taurus is an earth, fixed sign (best at holding space for an energy already established rather than wanting a change) that is ruled by Venus (Our values) and this Full Moon will be conjunct Uranus (Asking for change, rebellion) This lunation culminates in your 3rd house of community, communication and ideas, inviting you to explore unconventional and surprising ways of not only letting go of unhelpful and damaging thoughts, but also of communicating with your family, friends and immediate community on a day-to-day basis.
