LIBRA | DECEMBER HOROSCOPE

Updated: Nov 30, 2020

Libra, I am so happy you are here! We have made it to the last month of 2020, and December welcomes us with Mercury, the planet of communication entering the mutable, fire sign of Sagittarius, falling in your 3rd house of communication, thoughts and community, indicating a change of pace in intellectual endeavors. Perhaps you feel more inclined to share ideas with your immediate close community and participate in a lively debate where you are left learning a lot of new information. On the 14th, we will be experiencing a total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius (which also falls in your 3rd house) Now, in case we haven’t covered this yet, eclipse season is a no-go for manifestation.. The energy is too chaotic and we are unable to work with both the Sun & the Moon as we are used to since this is not a normal lunation. My advice is to use the energy of these eclipses to listen and reflect, see what comes up and what is being brought to your attention! The following day, on the 15th, Venus joins both Mercury and the Sun in your 3rd house of community and communication, signaling a harmonious time where it can be easier to find the beauty in everyday life, as well as having pleasurable interactions with your surroundings. On the 17th, Saturn, the planet of discipline and structure, moves into your 5th house of self-expression, pleasure and fun. Now Libra, Saturn here is to teach you the lessons of responsibility and sustainability. Ask yourself, how has this area of life been doing up until now? Do you have healthy ways of channeling your creativity and to express yourself as authentically as you desire? If the answer is no, Saturn invites you to look into unhealthy habits and restructure anything necessary to provide a long-lasting method that you can hopefully rely on for a long time. Keep in mind that Saturn is considered one of the slower moving planets, taking 2 and a half/3 years to make its way through a single sign of the zodiac, so these themes might come up over a long period of time. On the 19th, Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and expansion, moves into your 5th house of creativity as well, bringing some high spirits, optimism and hope to the table. On the 20th, Mercury exits Sagittarius and enters your 4th house of Capricorn, which deals with your home and family life. I see this as an opportunity to make sure all your affairs are in order (or as in much order as they can be) when it comes to these themes, so that you can begin to see the fruits of your own labor from the time Saturn has been transiting this house (which has been the last 2 and a half years, or so) On the 21st, we have Jupiter and Saturn forming what we call “The Great Conjunction” in your 5th house of Aquarius. This is a HUGE planetary alignment that has been falling on earth signs for the past 200 years. This is marking a new “Air” era that we are entering, an era of the mind and intellect. This conjunction propels us to another level, giving you the tools to both expand and reach for opportunities as you establish new, sustainable and reliable boundaries and structures around self-expression, creativity and pleasures in life. I know it sounds counterintuitive to put boundaries and/or restrict our creativity and self-expression, but exposing ourselves too much can sometimes lead to detrimental situations, so it’s best to always know one’s limit. On the same day, the Sun enters your 4th house of Capricorn, signaling that our cleaning up of the home environment and dealing with family dynamics is not over. Who are you in the context of your own home? What are your expectations of life at home? Do you like where you live? Do you desire for more? What does home mean to you? All these are valid questions to be asking yourself during this time to figure out where you are, where you want to go and how to get there. To wrap up this crazy as hell year, we will be experiencing a Full Moon in Cancer on December 29th. This is illuminating your 10th house of public image and career, Libra. What lessons have you learned about your professional life during this lunar cycle? Can you think back to the New Moon in Cancer back mid July and what was going on back then? Your goals, aspirations? Check in with yourself! You are rocking it, Libra.
