Happy December, Gemini! 2020 has been a wild ride for all of us, but we are almost done! On the 1st, Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, enters your 7th house of Sagittarius, indicating a shift of focus into connecting and communicating with your close relationships and partnerships. This could be a good time to open up and speak your truth when it comes to what you are feeling and what sense of adventure is missing in these closest relationships. On the 14th, the collective will be experiencing a total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. Now, in case we haven’t covered this yet, eclipse season is a no-go for manifestation.. The energy is too chaotic and we are unable to work with both the Sun & the Moon as we are used to since this is not a normal lunation. My advice is to use the energy of these eclipses to listen and reflect, see what comes up and what is being brought to your attention! On the 15th, Venus, the planet of love, values and beauty, enters your 7th house of Sagittarius as well (LOTS of 7th house aka relationship energy activity on the first half of this month) signaling the want and need to embark on adventures (whether they be mental or physical) with your significant other (or any close relationships you consider partnerships) On the 17th, Saturn enters your 9th house of Aquarius. 9th house represents higher education, long distance travel and religion (amongst other things) Saturn is the planet of discipline and structure, and in the 9th house, it's bringing a serious and sober tone when it comes to expanding the bounds of your mind. What subjects can you learn about and use to your advantage to build more structures and foundations that can propel you forward? Keep in mind that Saturn is considered one of the slower moving planets, taking 2 and a half/3 years to make its way through a single sign of the zodiac, so these themes might come up over a long period of time. On the 19th, Jupiter, the planet of opportunities and expansion, will be joining Saturn in your 9th house. On December 20th, Mercury will enter your 8th house of Capricorn, shifting some mental focus and intellect into your shared finances and resources. On December 21st, Jupiter & Saturn in Aquarius will be forming what we call “The Great Conjunction”. This is a HUGE planetary alignment that has been falling on earth signs for the past 200 years. I kind of see this as a “leveling up” opportunity, where Saturn brings the structure needed and Jupiter brings the necessary expansion to be able to form something beautiful and long-lasting. On the same day, December 21st, the Sun enters your 8th house of Capricorn, which can manifest as a handful of different things but is mainly bringing attention and energy into affairs with other people, spouses or partnerships (whether its financial or emotional) the 8th house deals a lot with shared resources, and these can be monetary, material resources or simply dealing with someone else’s energy in a joint space. To wrap up December and take a break from eclipse season, we have a Full Moon in Cancer, which is falling in your 2nd house of material possessions and finances.
